Do I need a smartphone to use Vii?
No. Any phone that can make a call or send a text can use Vii. You do not need to install anything or have mobile data.
Does it work without internet?
Calls and texts work over the normal telephone network. You only need data for WhatsApp or the web app, and neither is required.
What does it cost?
You can start using Vii for free. When you need more, Vii tells you on the call or by text what to do next. You can also call us to top up from any phone.
Which languages does Vii speak?
English, Nigerian Pidgin, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo. You can switch language by asking Vii, or by texting Vii LANGUAGE.
Can Vii call my parents for me?
Yes, with their consent. They receive a request first and can accept, refuse, or stop at any time. Vii calls them in their language and sends you a short, factual update.
Is my data private?
Private notes, reminders, your balance and business tools need your 6-digit Voice PIN. Calls and texts to other people need consent. You can delete your account and its data at any time.
